Why Alex opened the shop
Alex Pinto founded Pinto's Auto Repair in Naples in 2018, and officially registered the business as a Florida entity that October. The reason was simple and slightly unflattering to the industry: he kept meeting people who had been quoted four figures for repairs that didn't need doing.
That experience shaped how the shop runs. There's no service advisor sitting between you and the person holding the wrench. When you call about a noise, you're describing it to someone who will be under the car later that day. When you're handed an estimate, it's been written by the technician who measured the part, not generated from a labor guide by someone who never saw the vehicle.
Eight years on, we handle everything from routine oil changes to check engine light diagnostics, brake and suspension work, transmission and drivetrain repair, and auto AC repair for both import and domestic vehicles. Some customers have been coming since the first year. A few have been bringing cars to Alex for a lot longer than that.
The shop sits at 3671 33rd Ave NE in Golden Gate Estates, which puts us within a short drive of most of Collier County and a long way from anyone's idea of a dealership waiting room. There's no service advisor layer here. Alex owns the shop, works on the vehicles, and answers your questions himself.

Parts and labor, itemized and explained, before anything starts. If something changes mid-job, we stop and call you.
We say when it can wait
Plenty of visits end with us telling someone their brakes have another 10,000 miles. That's the point of the place.
